Introduction
Unbelieveable pick-up and acceleration from such a small engine. Credit that to the direct injection (world's first application coupled with a turbo). No need to downshift to get the extra power since the 207 lb-ft of torque is available at just 1500rpm. Ride is a nice compromise between sporty and comfortable.

GTI is less money and comes with HID and much better stereo, but it's not an AUDI
Conclusion
An all around, cant-beat-it car. A mix of my 2 previous rides (Mini Cooper S and Acura TSX) is the best way to describe. Has the go and styling of the Cooper while having the ride and luxury feel of the TSX. I really can't say anything bad about this car other than some repairs under warranty. 1) Faulty spark plugs
2) Bad ignition coils 3) A/C compressor failed and had to wait 3 weeks for new one in the dead of summer!!!!!! No problems since then, and every drive has been a joy. BTW, none of those issues ever left me stranded.
