2006 Audi A6 Review

Ownership Status: I use to own this vehicle.
Recommendation: I recommend this vehicle.

Pros -Packed with features and a better value than competitors -Great ride,handling and power -Awesome technology-yet simple to use -Exceptional interior design, fit and finish

Cons -Transmission occasionally jumpy -Keyless start occasionally didn't work -Audi service less than stellar (dealer issue)

Fantastic car. At first I was a bit skeptical over the way the nose looked, but I got used to it and in time fell in love with it. A great balance of Luxury and sportiness.



Not the prettiest on the road, but damn close

Exceptional. Clean, neat. The balance of wood ( a birch that is very different from the more common walnut)and leather is perfect. The plastic parts don't look like plastic parts and the interior ambient lighting is the coolest thing I've ever seen-it lights downward so it doesn't distract your driving but gives the lower half of the interior a really cool blueish glow.

All doors fit perfectly, no uneven surfaces or metal ripples

Outstanding materials. Even the fake parts look real.

I had the V6 3.2 and the power was better than any other V6 I've driven and better than the Volvo V8. Came down a notch because the tranny could sometimes be quirky.

Not a sports car but your felt confident. Braking-it could stop on a dime and give you nine cents change.

This-not so good. Premium gas, ok. I had a Chevy Suburban that cost less than this car to fuel. Sucked gas in like crazy. I'm not a slow driver granted but it was alot.

Another area this car shines. If you add the packages like Technology, convenience and luxury, you max this car out and it is still less than comparably equiped cars with less features.

Aside from gas, not too bad. Had to replace 3 tires but that was based on NE crappy roads.

See above. It isn't a cheap car, but at least you don't feel like your car is missing something for all that money.



I would recommend this car to anyone who can get it. Although apparently stickers close to the Benz and BMW, for everything that comes in it, you will spend another $10k if you go appleas and apples feature-wise. The way it handles is great-not as stiff and tight as a BMW, but also much smoother yet as much fun. Beautifully designed and incredibly thought through. Menu systems are logical as are the controls. Overall a great car.
