Introduction
The 350z is by far the best car that someone can buy if they are looking for a car with incredible street presence, absolutely perfect handling, acceleration and performance, and amazing value. The reasonably low price matched with the amazing performance and standard features make the 350z the ultimate car to consider for under $30,000.

Exterior Styling - 10
The exterior styling is absolutely amazing. The flowing curves of the car exude beauty and power, but they create a presense like not other. Everywhere you go, everyone will look at this car. From the beautifully sculpted headlights and tallights to the huge, dual exhaust pipes, the car maintains the classic Datsun Z look while giving a modern, sleek appearance.

Interior Styling - 10
The interior styling is beautiful. The aluminum accents gracing the modern styling and sculted sport seats provides an interior like no other.

Exterior Build/Materials Quality - 10
The exterior build quality is exceptional. The materials are solid and the fit and finish is of the best quality. Every detail of the car contributes to create one incredible machine.

Interior Build/Materials Quality - 8
The interior build quality and materials of the car is very good. The seats provide extreme support, the interior design is beautifully modern (with aluminum accents everywhere), and the build quality is very high, with a great solid feeling. The 2006 improved interior is much better than that of the previous models.

Engine Performance - 10
The engine is absolute perfection. Throughout the entire rev range there is incredible power and smooth acceleration, as well as a beautiful engine sound that never leaves. The 350z has no problem speeding up a massive hill in 6th gear (which is also an overdrive gear).

Handling/Braking - 10
The handling and braking of the 350z are also incredible. Most drivers will "chicken out" in fear of losing control before the 350z loses its grip. Even in cold, rainy weather, the 350z holds the road very well. The brake feel is amazing, with great control and power.

Fuel Efficiency - 8
The 350z actually attains good fuel economy. On average, city driving will come to 21mpg while highway driving will come to 26mpg. 30-40mpg are attainable, but 40mpg requires careful driving. Overall, the 350z is a good choice for a high performance car offering good fuel economy.

Available Features/Options - 8
The 350z has a host of available features, but the standard features list is also quite impressive. Standard: 300hp engine with advanced valve timing control, adaptive power steering, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Brake Assist, smart airbags, short-throw manual gearbox (incredibly nice to shift), Bi-Xenon headlights (the brightest type of headlights ever), LED taillights (which provide added safety in the rear), on-board computer, sport seats, great standard stereo system, automatic up-down windows, automatic climate control. Optional, Bose stereo system with 6-disc, in-dash cd player, satellite radio, leather, larger wheels, cat-back enhaust, aerodynamic kit, accessories, navigation system, heated seats, bluetooth, power seats.

Cost of Ownership - 7
The cost of ownership is a bit high, but not as high as some may expect. The 350z is good for fuel economy, and has incredibly good residual value. Insurance is not outrageous, when compared to a comparable car (Corvette), but tires will need replaced every 20-25,000 miles. Also, the 350z has no common problems with the drivetrain, etc. for the 2006+ models.

Value - 9
The 350z offers some of the best performance in all categories. For $28000, you can have a 300hp car that does 0-60mph in 5.2-5.6 sec (manual vs. automatic), will easily do 150mph but can reach 179mph. In addition, beautiful 18" wheels on high performance tires, sleek and modern styling, Bi-Xenon headlights and LED lighting give an appearance like not other. If you want a car that will thrill you to death, offer great standard features, and attract attention and envy of others, then the 350z is the perfect car for under $30,000.

Conclusion
The 350z is hailed as one of the best cars of all time. For 2006, Nissan updated the 350z with a 300hp engine, better wheels, inproved performance, increased standard features, and a better interior design. The 350z is the obvious choice for an enthusiast looking for a car that offers exceptional performance at a reasonable price.
