Ownership Status: I own this vehicle.
Recommendation: I recommend this vehicle.

Overall Rating: 90/100

Pros
  • Great power from the V6, accompanied by good mpg. Good stability and traction with awd. The interior has been greatly increased over the previous models to enhance cargo and passenger carrying duties. Reliability has been good so far. Resale should remain decent.
Cons
  • The RAV4s seem to be quite touchy when it comes to throttle inputs. Fuel tank should be atleast 18 gallons or so. The seats do not resist stains well at all.

Conclusion
The new RAV4s make excellent modes of transportation. Their reliability has yet to be seen but considering that the previous models were solid, the new RAVs should do well. The RAV will take you across the country with minimum effort and reasonable mpg all day long.
