Please tell me that they're NOT talking about that rolling atrocity we all know as the (current) Rolls Royce Phantom.
It looks like a Dick Tracy Cartoon Car Come To Life!
That Is The Single Least Elegant Looking Vehicle In The History Of Automotive Design!
Boooooo!

Agre with DaHarder about the Phantom. Also, Mustang should be removed from the list. There have been many much nicer Farraris than the Dino so why is the Dino on the list?

Maybe they mean the original old-school Phantom... I like the new Phantom too, so I'll agree with them...
'I'm shocked that any Jaguar was on this list...'
Are you retarded??? Jaguar has produced some of the most elegant designs of all time, including the current XK8 coupe and coming XF sedan. How about the D-type, the XJ220, the original XJ6??? What are you smoking?
And Houston... The LS460? You just keep getting dumber. How can a bland Camry-ish losenge shaped sedan with hijacked BMW styling cues and obvious Benz-envy be one of the most beautiful cars ever? The LS is not even one of the best designs among cars currently available. Why won't you die?

I also find it funny that their are no 'regular' production vehicles listed here i.e. they're all rather exotic.
Where's:
- The Perfectly Executed 1988-1991 Honda CRX
- The Timelessly Beautiful Alfa Romeo Spyder
- The Stunningly Functional 1993-1999 Mazda RX-7
- The Drop-Dead Gorgeous 1963-65 Buick Riviera
- The Masterfully Masculine 1st Generation Dodge Viper Coupe
The List Goes On... and On...
What are some vehicles you'd pick?

Are you kidding me??? Thats like looking at a list of the worlds most beautiful women and throwing random girls from your high school on it. There is a reason why the exotic cars are the ones on the list... get with the program man.

Your Obviously Faulty Logic lies in the assumption that only the exotic/unobtainable (for most) can be regarded as being beautiful.
It's a silly notion, because true beauty often manifest itself in more than just the exotic.
And in many cases, such as the Rolls Royce Phantom or the Ferrari Enzo, There is No Actually No True (by Definition) Aesthetic Beauty At All, Just Exotica.
But as they say, Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder (though often said eye is quite blind)

You has lost all credibility (In any catagory) forever.
I hope you were joking.
DaHarder

Why would that be a joke?
It's very difficult to pen a very small, yet practical vehicle that looks both sporty and well-proportioned, and I strongly feel that the 2nd generation Honda CRX was the first design that achieved that lofty goal.
If you don't agree, for whatever reason - fine, but it still remains a timelessly beautiful vehicle, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find it regarded as one of the few true Japanese classics in the near future.

No crummy 4-cylinder econo box coupe makes it onto the list of most beautiful cars. Forget the honda. Things that are truly beautiful are always highly coveted, so being difficult to attain is part of the criteria when it comes to beauty. If your wife is so beautiful, how come nobody wants her but you? there is a reason why really beautiful women usually marry rich, powerful guys.

I guess its you against the world DaHarder... and yes you lost all credibility with the crx. As for the Enzo and the Rolls, they are two of the most beautiful cars out there! I dont know what planet you're from, but on this planet, your list is complete RUBBISH!

And I really don't care about anyone else's opinions in these matters, as their all subjective, and as usual, Chiming In The Loudest are the usual band of 'Internet Automotive Aficionado's' who in REAL Life drive 1990 Plymouth Sundance Sedans, and wouldn't know a 1937 Cord 812 Cabriolet from a 1934 Auburn 12.

I don't agree with DaHarder on the CRX, but I definitely see what he means in the Phantom and Enzo. Neither of those cars are beautiful by any stretch of the imagination. They're just expensive and exclusive and exotic; we are star-struck when we see them.

CLK63 - going with mainstream opinion, you're driving a chick car. The CLK has always been considered a chick car. Do I think so? No. The CLK63 kicks ass, and it is beautiful.
I agree, the CRX is not beautiful, no matter how well executed it may have been.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Case in point, two women that are thought to be gorgeous by the media's standards but make me sick:
Sarah Jessica Parker
Julia Roberts

The CLK63 IS a chick car. However, the CLK63 Black Series definitely is not. I know a girl that goes to my gym with a CLK63, and when I park next to her, it's obvious why my car isn't the chick car and hers is. It seems as though you don't know what the Black Series is, and even if you do, you should at least know that the 3 series is also pretty much a chick car, and that the m3 is definitely not. Most people miss the boat on that one and dont really get it until I pull up next to them in my german muscle...

As far as BMWs go, I personally think the ~1985 635 coupe was brilliant, along with the same era 5 series M5. Though maybe not the most beautiful design, my favorite Ferrari is the 1987 GTO.

Lexus LS600hL??? Leave the PCP alone! How can such an uninspired, derivative design strike you as beatiful? (let alone most beautiful?) It's inoffensive and attractive in and understated way, yes. But never beautiful.
If any Lexus makes it to a 'most beautiful of all time' list, only the original Giugaro-penned GS300 and SC coupe of 1992-1994 should even be considered.

Also, every car on your list is a recent design. You don't have a single old-school classic on your list. Such an ommission makes me question your true automotive enthusiasm, and your knowledge / respect for the classics and originators. I guess you are the sort of fellow who would find a Lexus LS beautiful. Your frame of reference is so narrow that you are easily impressed...
You see, this is the mentality of Lexus lovers. It's why they can't fathom the reasons why a BMW or MB is any more special than a Lexus. Lexus is nice, but it's like cars for beginners. Real afficionados look past it every time. It's like eating at Olive Garden and fancying yourself to be an expert on Italian cuisine.

Fine, but the Lexus LS? Every current car in it's class looks better than the LS (Jag XJ, Maserati Quattroporte, Audi A8, Benz S-Class)
