Lexus is readying its arsenal of high performance cars such as the RC F coupe and the recently spied GS F, which photographers caught blazing the Nurburgring looking very close to production ready. The midsizer even smiled at the camera, showing off a more subdued nose.

The GS F surprisingly looks toned down compared to the boisterous looking IS F Sport, which wears a much more exaggerated version of the signature spindle grille that stretches all the way down to front valence. Instead, the GS F stays true to the GS F Sport’s styling, keeps the piece of plastic that separates the grille and valence. The mesh grille remains, though it doesn’t look as Darth Vader-y as the IS F Sport’s. While the GS F also has the same LFA-like air dams found on the RC F, its aggressive styling cues like the hood scoops and the side air vent aren’t transferred over to its larger, four-door sibling.
