These are the latest pictures of the new Mini Cooper Convertible testing at the Nürburgring ahead of its launch later this year.
The soft-top Mini will be the second of four initial models to launch in the new Mini lineup, following the three-door hatchback and ahead of the five-door hatch and Clubman models, which both arrive in 2015. Both of those models have also been spotted testing.
Like the other models in the range, the Mini Convertible is based on the versatile UKL1 platform. The car retains the folding soft-top roof and four-seat cabin of the previous generation, though updates to the interior to bring it in line with the hatchback are expected.
