The Viper has been released more than two decades ago and it currently is the last true American sports car. It sports a massive V10 engine and a manual transmission together with a highly capable chassis.
All of these make the Viper an incredible car to drive but unfortunately the FCA group decided to end production by 2017.
However, despite they did stated that the car is no longer going to be made, rumors started flying around about a 2017 Dodge Viper. This would be the successor of the original model but unlike the current car which is a brute in its own way, the new one would be a lot more refined. Don’t expect it to become a GT though. The new Viper is still expected to be a true sports car but this time around it should be a lot more manageable.
