A new Bond-mobile debuts on the lawn at Pebble Beach
The party kicking off the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance took place in the tree-lined entrance to the waterfront Beach and Tennis Club. The martinis were stirred (not shaken), and attendees strolled the swanky surroundings dressed in their finest haute couture. James Bond would have blended right in, making it the perfect place to debut the fictional British spy’s latest ride. Read Article

This Aston Martin DBS is definitely a masterpiece for sure, it like the painting of the Mona Lisa. The only probably is power, 510 hp is NOT alot for a car like this.

Lambo has the LP640 with 640 hp under the hood, Ferrari 612 has 540 hp, 599 GTB has 620 hp, Audi, MB, BMW and even now Lexus cars have well over 550hp. So I would like to see future Aston Martin car to have between 600hp-720hp under it hood.

Why? 510 is PLENTY. Aston Martin does not join the silly horsepower war the Germans started with the E39 M5.

Lexus: "The only probably is power".

a) Drunk, b) Stupid, c) Uneducated, d) all of the above.

Advice to Lexus: "That's no way to go through life, son"

0-60 in 4.3 seconds sounds more than quick enough to me.

I agree with SevorbeupstryIsBack, the horse power war is getting out of hand, most of the people driving these cars don't have anywhere near the necessary skills to handle such power. 510 hp is more than enough. Power is nothing without control.

I remember the days when Aston Martins had exotic stuff like lead-bronze engine bearings and certain other major engine components in chrome-moly steel. Does anone use expensive exotic materials for expensive cars any more?

the dbs is my favorite aston martin design by far. it looks sophisticated and aggressive.

im starting to see a lot of the aston styling cues are being slowly integrated into bmw design especially in the cs concept. it was more apparent there but the lights, wide body and even the side sills of the bmw including the new 3 series m3 copies from the aston.

bmw wants to be where aston is at. the future of bmw design is following in the trail of aston martin.

Doesn't surprise me. Austin Martin is classic bond. I thought it looked better in black though.

Stunning auto. I am hoping that their freedom from Ford PAG will allow them to continue development on great looking autos like the 4-door Rapide.

Pulling for you Aston!

"Power is nothing w/o control"... wasn't that a tire commercial?
