You know, if there's one vehicle I have trouble understanding, it's the lovefest for the Land Rover Defender. Yes, I get it has heritage, is pretty much unstoppable and is incredibly prepared to handle off-road adventures.

But what about on-road? I am not so sure it's the type of vehicle that will have you seeing hearts if you spend most of your time on the tarmac. Regardless, I will admit one thing: it does look cool.

If I am honest though, the standard Defender has absolutely nothing on the creation put together by Kahn Design. Dubbed the Flying Huntsman 105, Kahn took the Defender and made it into a pick-up truck.

According to Kahn, the company added 15 inches to the wheelbase, nearly 16 inches to the front end and about 6 inches to the auto's width. After dressing up its exterior with an updated body and matte paint, it's nearly good to go. As you'd expect, there's an updated suspension, brakes and new wheels/tires.

In addition, the interior is fully revamped with a set of race-inspired seats and machined trim bits.

All in, it looks like a very serious urban assault vehicle meant for black ops duty or something. What do you make of it, Spies? Is it AWESOME or AWFUL?
