For car lovers all over, there is something special about that dream ride that you've always wanted to own. For me, its the McLaren F1 LM of which there are only five in the world.

Oh yeah, it also costs somewhere in the seven-figure range.

There are two ways to tackle this seemingly large mountain: you either climb it or you work around it. We have seem some seriously impressive builds in small garages and even in basements over the years, but then there is another category of "What the hell?"

These are the slob jobs that essentially pay no respect to the vehicle the replica is even attempting to look like. Take, for example, this relatively crude-looking replica built up from a Toyota Celica. Mind you this is supposed to look like a Ferrari 308 GTB.

Now not only did the car miss the definition of replicating but it also happened to based on one of the least desirable models this side of the 456 GT.

This begs me to ask, wouldn't you just have a regular car at this point? Think of all the time invested, not to mention funds -- if you're not doing the work yourself.
