If you were to ask me what was one of the worst BMW designs to ever make it to production, I think I'd be torn. That's because the E65 7-Series and E60 5-Series are tied for first place in that dumpster fire of a competition.

But the more I look at it, I think the 5'er takes the cake.

From the exterior to the interior, it's just hot garbage. Everything from the wheels to the center stack to the centrally located headrest in the rear seat, it's just awful. I feel like it's a mix of late 2000s and the 1980s.

Don't expect this one to be a collector's item though. I just don't see it happening. However, if you want to have fun with a V10 and give it a good home before it kicks the bucket, this very well may be your chance. Two more days left in the bidding at the time of this writing, so, act fast!

This unmodified example was originally sold in New Jersey and located in Indiana before it was acquired by the selling dealer in February 2017 and moved to Oregon. A new power steering pump and belt have since been fitted along with a new radiator hose clamp and A/C drive belt. This E60 M5 is now being offered with a clean Carfax, service records for the recent work, and a clean Indiana title...
