Aston Martin has to decide in the following weeks where to build its new plant. According to Reuters’ sources, the company has four site options in the UK, the United States and the Middle East. The new investment is part of an extensive expansion plan, as the company has to intensify its efforts to push for a revival of the brand, which is aiming to deliver both a crossover based off the DBX concept and electric supercars in the near future.

A source recently told Reuters that two British sites, one in the US state of Alabama and one in the Middle East, were being considered by the board of the mainly Italian and Kuwaiti private equity-owned firm. “The board is reviewing the options and will make a decision by the end of the year or the first few weeks of January,” the person familiar with the matter said.
