The Ferrari California T is a grand touring car that gives you a healthy mix of it all. It has a sporting feel but is comfortable and convenient enough where you don't have to worry about the problems that typically come with owning an exotic.

An example being a low ride height and navigating a city center without scraping.

Ferrari California T — Tailor Made

Honestly, after driving one I have to say it reminds me a lot of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class. Except it's more fun to drive and has a better sound.

That said, the company did something interesting for this year's Techno Classica show. It took the new California T equipped with the Handling Speciale package and painted its exterior to match the ex-Eric Clapton Ferrari 250 SWB (short wheelbase).

If that was not enough, Ferrari also went retro on the inside with a dark red interior called Heritage Bordeaux. The leather looks like that of a throwback couch. Now, where do we get our smoking jackets, ladies and gentlemen?

Ferrari, once again, shows us just what's capable if you've got the bank account to pony up the bucks. Well done!

That said, what do YOU make of it? Two thumbs UP or DOWN, Spies?
