Over the years there has been no doubt that Jaguar has made some aesthetically beautiful cars.
They've always had great style.
And for a long time the Germans have built some great everyday sedans that look good but were without products in their lineup that had that Jaguar 'flair'.
Until now.
When Mercedes started the trend of four-door coupes with the first CLS, its success was something the other German car companies could just sit back and watch.
The concept was simple. Make a practical German sedan that had that Jaguar style.
In fact when the CLS was in development in Stuttgart, it was called the Jag fighter.
So the CLS was born which then awoke the other Germans and now we have the BMW Gran Coupe, Audi A7, Porsche Panamera, Mercedes CLS and VW CC Coupe.
All really, really nice products at multiple price points.
Which now begs the question.
Do the Germans now build BETTER Jaguars than Jaguar itself?
