Although we've made it clear that Aston Martin has packaged some thoroughly sexy cars in recent years, there's just one that always manages to make me swoon. That's the "baby" Aston, the Vantage.
If the standard V8 Vantage doesn't quite light your fire, the company that typically outfits James Bond has decided to up the ante just a little bit. With a bump of 10 horsepower and a pinch of more torque, the Vantage S also benefits from a new seven-speed automated manual transmission. This means if you live your life by zero to 60 times, you can expect the car to hit the six-oh mark in 4.5 seconds, which is three tenths of a second faster than your regular V8 Vantage.
Additionally, the Vantage S benefits from some cosmetic changes to its look that are said to be inspired by the company's GT4 racer.
Taking this all into account, do you find the Vantage S to be too minor to matter or are the updates welcomed with arms wide open?

Under the bonnet is an uprated version of the familiar 4.7-litre V8, boosted by 10bhp to 430bhp at 7,200rpm. Peak torque also rises 20Nm to 490Nm at 5,000rpm. The improvements are brought about by a revised intake system, which lets in more air at higher engine speeds, plus more precise management of how the spark plugs ignite the fuel...
