Aston names color for V12 Vantage RS Concept, considers production
Ever since we’ve laid eyes on the Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS Concept, we were a bit iffy - okay well, we were very pissed off about the color choice. Why color a 600 horsepower Aston with baby blue? We’d much rather see this beauty in all black, all white, charcoal gray or even Aston’s famous Racing Green.

Anyway Aston has announced that they will call the baby blue color of the V12 Vantage RS Concept ‘Mako Blue.’ Yes, they released a whole press release about the color and they can do that because they are Aston Martin. Mako Blue is not my favorite color by any means.

But I'd still take the car.

Gladly.

That is one sexy piece of machinery. I give it my Sex On Wheels rating!

The Vantage is indeed one of the sexiest cars on the market. Unfortunately, the V8 never met its original performance promise.

It seems this V12 version makes-up for the original shortfall but sheds some of the sex appeal of the V8 to handle the performance gains.

I would take both cars gladly if I didn't have to pay. However, I chose a 997 the last time I had to foot the bill. Contingent on price, I probably would chose a GT3 RS against this, despite the fact that it's far better looking. (It's probably going to be nose-heavy and understeer quite a bit also.)
