definitely the best sports car by far. hot design. no one can say its ugly.
fast as hell, and at 110,000, a supercar without the hefty price tag.
job well done AUDI.

Now, why didn't the new M3 or IS-F get the crown? They are just as fast as the R8.

It can't even beat the GT-R, so this makes no sense at all. I bet Audi probably paid SportsCar for the award.

Congrats to the R8. It has taken the world by storm, and will continue to grow its presence. Well deserved and looking forward to the V10 version.

I must say, I agree completely. The R8 is the complete package. Its not the fastest, or the cheapest, but it is by far the most complete package. I just downloaded the 10/14 edition of top gear and watched it spank the 911 around the track and it only lost to the much lighter 911 by a nose in an all out drag race. I can't even imagine it with the V10 its going to get, who needs a Gallardo? This is a well deserved win and with my ongoing experience with my bimmer, I don't tend to think very much of German engineering. I would buy this car in a second, but I still have a few more years until my midlife crisis......
