Audi on Monday said it is increasing production of such popular models as the 2014 Audi A6, A7, Q5 and R8, in response to "strong demand" by car shoppers.
The German automaker said it will also build more 2015 Audi A3s.

INGOLSTADT, Germany — Audi on Monday said it is increasing production of such popular models as the 2014 Audi A6, A7, Q5 and R8 in response to "strong demand" by car shoppers.
The German automaker said it will also build more 2015 Audi A3s.
"Our order books are full," said Dr. Frank Dreves, Audi board of management member for production, in a statement.
He added: "We anticipate additional production in Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm also in the coming months."
The two German plants supply Audi vehicles around the world.
Edmunds says: It should be easier for car shoppers to get their hands on some of these popular Audi vehicles in the coming months, thanks to the boost in production.
