Clarissa Wright says Barack Obama’s decision to bail out the U.
S. auto industry gave the president the edge he needed to win Ohio, and ultimately, re-election.
Wright, 36, who operates a state-subsidized day care center in East Liverpool, Ohio, near the Pennsylvania and West Virginia borders, says the president needs more time to undo the damage to the economy she blames on his predecessor, George W. Bush.
“I love Obama, I really do, and I think he’s had a rough time of it,” she said. “The auto bailout helped Ohio a lot and I think it was a good thing for the country.” Read Article
