BMW 530i get power and efficiency boost
Autobild have tested the updated 530i which utilises BMWs "Efficient dynamics" technologies to achieve better performance and fuel economy.
By using these power preserving technologies, BMW have achieved a 14 hp increase upping the power from 258 hp to 272 hp. But that doesn't mean that the consumption have gotten worse, on the contrary, the car now achieves even better mileage. Autobild meassured a test consumption of 9,7 liters /100 km (24,3 US MPG). In comparison the Mercedes E350 included in the same test returned a fuel consumption of 10,2 l/100 km (23 US MPG).
