Boost it!

According to Consumer Affairs, owners of 3-Series, X3, and X5 have been complaining of major transmission failures in their vehicles.

Yet BMW denies there's a prob, stating it's typical wear and tear.

Is there a problem here? Is BMW in denial? Or that $4000+ spent to fix that 2004 Bimmer just a fig of one's imagination?
