Bentley is well-known for its master skills of creating posh vehicles like the Bentayga, and designing unique features like a bespoke fishing set or a picnic. But apparently the company is not good enough at… mounting the seats of the SUV to the floor.

Production of the vehicle at the British brand’s Crew factory started a year ago and first deliveries were fact in March this year. Now, Bentley has announced a recall for certain 2017 model year examples sold in the United States, because “during the assembly process, the affected vehicles may not have had the seat mechanism and instrument panel joints properly tightened.” If that happens, the bolts can loosen, “increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.”
