It's not too often that an automaker Chief Executive Officer spills the beans about what's in the pipeline. For reasons we still do not entirely understand, future products are a closely guarded secret.

To us, this is a bit rich considering how these vehicles are tested out and in the open and we even suspect — with good reason — that the manufacturers use this to their public relations advantage.

But über-luxury automaker Bentley has a CEO with loose lips. During an question and answer segment with the UK's Autocar he made it clear that the company's product portfolio will be expanding two fold.

Wolfgang Dürheimer: “It is true, we have two options on the table. One is an SUV — more sporting than the Bentayga. The other is a car in the mould of the EXP 10 Speed 6, which we first showed at the Geneva motor show in 2015. The feedback on this car was so phenomenal that we now have the task of deciding what we will do first.

“You will know by the end of the year. We are working on both. If we had limitless money and manpower, I would do both at the same time. There will be a sequenced approach and you’ll soon see what we go for first.”

Rather than have answers though, this actually creates more questions:

- Will the "more sporting" SUV be a Bentayga variant or an all-new Bentley SUV?
- Isn't the EXP 10 Speed 6 car the Barnato we've already told you about?

WHICH would YOU rather see hit the streets first? Though Bentley's CEO says he wish he could do both at the same time he makes it clear that there will be a staggered introduction.
