Blood Red GT-R by Defend Garage
Modification of the R35 GT-R is still in its infancy but already top-name tuners like Amuse and Mines have set new lap records for Japan’s Tsukuba Circuit with only minor modifications to Nissan’s new super-coupe.

The latest firm to join the growing list of GT-R tuners is Garage Defend, whose latest package, like most other off-the-shelf kits for the R35, sets out to improve on the aerodynamics of the car.

WTF are those? Scrapers? They must be very effective when pulling in to park in between cars.

I dont think that's the concern of the typical GT-R buyer.

Most of them will be, or at least should be, headed to a track.

they are called canards. they are useful for most race cars. I believe they keep the cars center of gravity down.

I was kidding, I know their purpose...I just don't like how they look on the car.

Well engineered cars shouldnt need those extras. Look at Porsche, they seem to do fine without a lot of those stick-ons. They only hinder the look of the car in my opinion.

I agree but the wing is nessecary however. the 911 has it too. when cornering at high speeds of 90-100+ mph, air would flow well throughout the car to keep it stable. w/o it, the car would simply lose control and venture off by flipping out or sliding into the grass (correct me if I'm wrong).

Why does any race car need any "extras" then? All automotive races should be held using stock automobiles with their stock specs only.

Of course this would include the giant wings and other extras that Porsche race cars also happen to use:

Big surprise. It was only a matter of time before this would happen. New Nissans just have no style.

Amazing car, and nice FR Wing/Diffuser. My only gripe is the poor execution of the Audi-esque grill by Nissan. Every time I look at it I'm reminded of Bubba Gump. To the tuners out there, please "tuck that in!"
