Bmw to expand its popular 3-Series Touring
BMW will significantly expand its popular 3 Series Touring range with two new petrol models, both of which are on display at the Australian International Motor Show.Catering to increasing customer demand, BMW will stamp its authority on the high-performance estate market with the arrival of the top-of-the-range six-cylinder direct petrol injection Twin Turbo 335i Touring.

At the volume end of the segment, the new 320i Touring will give customers a more dynamic product offering at its price point than the competition. The new petrol engines arrive in showrooms early next year joining the existing straight-six powered 323i Touring.

I think it would be unnecessary. How is the M5 touring doing?

I would get a 335i touring here in the US. People laugh, but if you got black on black, took off the roof rails, put the M-sport bodykit on it and go aftermarket with the wheels. Tint the windows. You would look like death was going drocery shopping!

Frankly, I find this to be the only 3-Series variant that actually looks good.

Are you joking?

Nope...

The coupe's butt looks 'droopy' and weak.

The sedan's profile makes it look far to compressed/compact... Even the new Civic look more substantial, and that rear end... YUCK!

The cabrio's proportions are simply an aesthetic disaster - Stem to Stern.

Note: All MY opinions, and I don't ask that you to agree with them.

I agree with you on the sedan/cabrio, but the coupe... I'm sorry, but frankly, it's a fact. That's the best-looking 3 Series in a very long time. The butt is not "droopy" at all, even if it looked that way in the press release shots.

definitely not the best looking coupe...that would have to go to the e36...that was a true gem by BMW.

to this day i would choose an e36 M3 over its successors, but never over the e30 M3 (e30 is just M-azing)

How about a 335xi wagon here? That would be sweet.
