Brabus revealed today the SV12 R Biturbo 800 a.k.a. world’s most powerful luxury sedan, with 800 hp and a top speed electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph). Based on the Mercedes-Benz S 600, the new car uses the V12 engine that normally powers the standard car, with an increased displacement from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 385 cu. in.). Furthermore, the car uses a custom air intake to fit in the available space under the hood of the S-Class, a new Brabus Biturbo system with two special high-performance manifolds with integrated turbine housings and high-performance turbochargers, four water intercoolers and a new stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with sport catalysts and four exhaust tips. The result: an impressive 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW at 5,500 rpm and an even more impressive peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft), available from a low 2,100 rpm.
