General Motors is currently considering producing a Buick version of the Opel Adam, which will be aimed towards the North American continent.
The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but according to the guys at Automobile Magazine, who have recently spoken to Mark Reuss, the head of global product development for General Motors, a Buick version of the Adam is currently being taken into consideration. In fact, Reuss responded with “it ain’t a bad idea” when asked about a possible Buick Adam.
In order to receive the Buick badges all over its body, the Adam, which is currently being sold as an Opel and as a Vauxhall, will have to receive some more luxurious items to it and these would probably mean better quality materials which, in the end will be translated into a more expensive version of the model. The American Adam will not receive the Chevrolet badge because GM thinks this will collide with the Sonic (Aveo).Read Article
