As many of you know by now, I am located in the New York Tri-State area, to be more specific New Jersey. And like any area with a concentrated amount of wealth, there's unique independent dealers. I always try to keep an eye on inventory as unique vehicles come in.
One such dealer had a particularly special vehicle come into its inventory last month. Though I have no idea if it's still around, I was stunned by its price.
It was a 1994 911 Turbo — a 964 model — with the 3.6-liter motor with a gorgeous "paint to sample" Slate Gray color. The asking price? $189,888.
To put this in perspective, an all-new 991 Turbo has a base price of $151,100, which leaves some room to make it your own via Porsche's a la carte options.
So, IF it were YOUR $$$, what would it be? The 964 or the 991?
