Legendary British automaker, Bentley, always has a few tricks up its sleeve. You have to remember that the company is consistently seeking out ways to expand its product portfolio with as little effort as possible while charging another arm or leg.

That's just the way of super high-end luxury market these days.

While the Bentayga already benefits from a W12 producing about 600 horsepower, Bentley's CEO told Auto Express that "...you might expect that," when it was implied that a Speed model cold be on the way.

Considering the latest and greatest Continental GT boasts a W12 good for just over 630 horsepower, we wouldn't be surprised to see that motor make an appearance alongside a slew of visual updates to the exterior and interior of the Bentayga sport-utility vehicle.

Given that Bentley moved all 3,000 units of its first year's production, we don't see why the luxury auto manufacturer wouldn't want to scale out its efforts with a saucier model.

After that? Well, word on the street suggests that a diesel, a hybrid and that a lighter V8 model could be on tap.
