Agent 001 is rejoicing at the thought of a Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class "Shooting Brake." If any of you read 001's post this week, you'd immediately understand I am being very sarcastic.
Although the GLA-Class entry-level luxury sport-utility vehicle has yet to launch in the States, it seems that Mercedes-Benz is feeling pretty confident about expanding the CLA-Class nameplate into the wagon area. Considering sales of the new entry-level three-pointed star have been strong, we can't blame them. We just would think that it would need a firmer business case plus visibility into how GLA sales are doing before pulling the trigger.
On the other hand, we can't say with certainty if this new Shooting Brake will come here. Mercedes has exercised restraint in the past with models like the CLS Shooting Brake.
