My wife and I have a 06 HHR LT with the 2.4L 172hp engine, and it has proven to be an excellent car. It's really a fun car to drive. We like it so much, that we are considering maybe jumping on an SS.

Its a very well made car and it recived lots of praise over its workmanship. the ss would be real fun to drive given the weight of this car and 260 horses no one can deny that.

Other than the cheesy interior plastic and the "me-too" PT Cruiser theme, it's actually not a bad vehicle. A tall wagon makes much more sense than the many lard-filled utility vehicles that never leave the pavement or tow a trailer.

Now if only GM had the common sense to put manual transmissions in its fun cars...

uncompromising is 260 horsepower? I'd say that's a huge compromise.
