Chevrolet Prisma “Y” Concept
Chevrolet has unveiled a new concept car called the Prisma “Y” Concept based on its recently launched Chevrolet Prisma sedan. The Chevrolet Prisma “Y” is targeted toward young customers with its sleek design and the “Y” tag meaning that it is made for the Youth. The car was designed by Brazilian designers who are saying that the car is for youngsters looking for adventure seeing as the car not only fits up to 5 people, but their surfing and camping equipment as well. Designed using GM’s virtual reality design studio, the Chevrolet Prisma “Y” gets a new bumper, new fender trim, 16-inch wheels along with a panoramic sunroof

Another Blunder from Chevrolet?
I'm 100% opposed to creating a car germinated from a "virtual reality design studio" as most Germans and Americans favor so damn much b/c its probably cheap, faster and a shortcut method.
However, watch and learn what Toyota has been doing. Toyotas don't design their cars. Its designs comes from a ocean, created by minds of people's ideas from trickling to a stream to a river to a lake and the sea. That is how you unlock the secret of the marketing puzzle. It isn't about who designs a car the fastest, most high tech, how talented, most R&D spent etc.. It starts from the most basic...1) Before you leave for work..you look for the key to your car...what makes you attracted to this key? Is the key made of a plastic or plain silver...What feelings do you enjoy the most when you turn the key on a car?? Do we want the feeling of a click or just a smooth motion of turning of the ignition??? what is it??? How do you want your door to sound as you close the door? How do you want your turn signal lever to feel? Should it have a feelings to it? A emotional attachment to even the slightest sound of a turn signal?? This is what, I'm talkin about!
Only this article is sayin is that some idiots from Brazil designed a car who are saying that the car is for youngsters looking for adventure seeing as the car not only fits up to 5 people, but their surfing and camping equipment as well.
It lacks that mastery of Japanese, primarly a Toyota or Lexus. The puzzle is not put together in perfection. This SUV will be a flop b/c it was designed mainly by few engineers not youngsters and some hollywood studio.

Coustomers are much more intelligent and ask for the real things than the history or badges or reputation etc

Right...
...So you are using Toyota as an example of emotional appeal?
Sorry, but you are going to have to look beyond a tinny Corolla or bland Camry for a solid indicator stalk action and a heavy feel to the doors.
And Toyota design ALL their cars by way of computer. I think the Japanese are the most guilty of this.
Europe and America still likes to blend modern technology with clay modelling and hand-drawn sketching.

Matthew, I know you my son.
You are a smart little critter from a college in London or someshit.
Let me explain to you something here, faggot!
Japanese do not start off from a computer. It's just opposite, faggot!
go jerk off, staring at the computer porn and make sure you clean off your keyboard thereafter you queer.

Dont worry,
I don't expect someone who uses your language and logic to know much about cars.
Why are you arguing against a smart London critter? You will lose every time.

Matthew, don't even respond to this. nicehomer, how old are you? Great banter.....you sound like a total moron. Have you ever seen BMW's full sized clay models? I have never seen Toyota do this. But I have heard that Lexus has started using BMW's clay models. This is fairly evident on "their" new stuff.

Not bad, kind of a cross between Acura and MB. If it's priced against the Koreans, it could work.
I'm more concerned of where they'll be building it.
