I'll take the white one. And Audi....do us all a favor and add an optional body kit that at least looks similar to this. The Q7 needs to look this aggressive !!! I wish it had looked like this from the start of production.

i kinda think the gril is overdone .. isnt it.. probably will be toned down for production. Nice..ish otherwise. no x5.. but nice nevertheless!

The Audi Q7 V12 TDI reminds me of a Ron Thorn guitar made in Los Angeles, Calif.

Excellent, huge power and great fuel economy. The interior (on the concept) is perfect, so freaking luxurios. BTW, Audi offeres S-Line package for the Q7 that gives you a more agressive bodykit.

True enough, but it still is 13% more fuel for what purprose really.

Is the tongue-load for the hitch even able to handle over 7000lbs?

The V6 probably could handle the same jobs, minus the 0-60 time.

Didn't this thing almost eat Luke in one of the 1st Star Wars movies????

Great "Halo vehicle". I'd rather not pay to fill the tank on this beast, even if its much better than a gas-powered tank ... I mean SUV.

But my biggest problem with this car is that I'd lose my license so damn fast if I owned one of these ... and I really can't afford a chaufeur (I can't even spell it!)

Lexus as a 400+hp hybrid because the hybrid part doesn't cost anything really. That's the beauty of hybird, the extra power and mileage is 100% emissions free (...why hybrids always use less oil than other vehicles while getting better mileage and 0-60 times).

But as the newer article states, the V6 TDI does make sense for trucks.

Yes I was in the market for Range Rover, the question is when does this come out, maybe by Q2 of next year? The white interior reminds me of snoop dog or some drug dealers cars you see on the cops, a classic would be black exterior with beige interior!! Does anybody have sound of the engine? To chewy, stop arguing with huu, his comment saying the lexus hybrid doesn't cost anything, tells me he is probably child, but then again both of you probably are?

Are diesels not supposed to help the env't by being more efficient? Where's the efficiency in this?

The GSh gives more power with the same amount of oil used. The V12 TDI burns the same amount of oil and gives power no one will ever use.

The only purpose of this car is to prove how inadequate the driver is.

When the gas engine runs, it burns and pollutes, so might as well power an electric motor that boosts performance and epa.
w/o the hybrid, you'd need a bigger gas engine to maintain performance but lose epa, or you'll lose performance and epa w/ just the gas engine. So yes, it is free. The GS-h is maximizing the energy from fuel that's being burned anyway. Only a child or some diesel lover would not understand the concept of getting more from less.

Of course, with diesels, it's just burn as much as you can before it goes bad.

huu76, guess i'll have to go into detail for ya, K 1.lets not forgot the amount of time and money it took toyota to develop and market hybirds. 2.The extra amount of money they charge over the regular models. 3.You are still using gasoline to charge and run hybirds. Now for diesels, 1. Did you know that diesel fuel is denser and contains about 15% more energy. 2."Diesel fuel is a better lubricant than gasoline so is less harmful to the oil film on piston rings and cylinder bores; it is routine for diesel engines to cover 250,000 miles or more without a rebuild." 3.Diesel is easier to refine than petroleum, petroleum comes from diesel.4.A lot of diesel engines can be easily modified to run on biodiesel. 4.Government actually on purpose taxes diesel higher?

Now if vw comes with a diesel/bio-diesel hybrid, then me and huu76 can agree?

Did you know diesel requires 25% more oil to make, hence the higher energy content (and pollution content)? Because of this, diesel produces more torque and should be used for trucks and high torque applications, not to drive 1 guy around town.
Diesel is cheaper to refine but it costs more (all things being equal) because it needs more oil (raw material) to produce and they take more impurities out of gasoline.
Did you know in Australia when they introduced low sulphur diesel, it wrecked all the gaskets in transports because it dried them out?
I've done calculations and so have media resources, it takes about 4 years to pay off the premium (it gets quicker as the price of gas goes up).
To get more power with diesel, you have to put on more pistons and burn more diesel. To get more power with hybrids, you just add a bigger electric motor that gets charged by the engine which is already running anyway.
