In an interesting move, Rolls-Royce has quietly brought out a new Ghost model. Called the Ghost V-Specification, it is a limited edition with more power and some little tricks up its sleeve. Now the BIG question is "will it make it to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS)?"

I checked the floorplan and Rolls-Royce is nowhere to be seen. Granted, it could technically find a very small home inside of BMW's booth, but I am doubtful. Usually automakers want to make their presence known, not hide out.

Oh, and I don't think Detroit is Rolls-Royce's biggest market. The legendary luxury marque could be pulling a Porsche and just remove itself to save the expense when it has no new products to showcase in a market that is, well, not it's core demographic.

So, what we know about the Ghost V-Spec — God, it sounds like a Nissan GT-R now. ;):

- 6.6-liter V12 producing 593 horsepower — 30 more than the standard model
- Slightly more fuel efficient than the standard Ghost
- Subtle interior/exterior improvements
    - Hand-painted coachline
    - Five new exterior colors
    - 21-inch wheels
    - Custom V-Spec motif on the dash, tread plates
    - Interior upholstery features contrasting piping/stitching
    - New clock design

All of that said, check it out yourself, below.
