One of the biggest debuts slated for the 2012 Detroit Auto Show is the 2013 Dodge Dart. Well, it was going to be a big deal until now.

Though the brand has been hyping the debut for a couple of weeks now, slowly but surely the air has getting leaked out of this balloon. After the teasers surfaced, it has been disputed HOW many mpg the 2013 will actually get.

Today, the full series of images AND even a video has made its way to the 'net to showcase the entry-level Dodge that will challenge a slew of economy cars.

First look at the 2013 Dodge Dart. (R/T Trim Level Shown)

Engines for the 2013 Dart include a base 2.0-liter four-cylinder, mid-level 1.4-liter turbo four with MultiAir technology, and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine for top of the line trim. Six-speed manual, auto or dual-clutch transmission will be available and a nine-speed will be available at a later date.

The 2013 Dart will debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, and arrive at your Dodge showroom later this year. Expect more info on the 2013 Dodge Dart to be announced soon.
