It must have been pretty hard sitting in Maranello after the launch of the then all-new Ferrari 458 Italia. The car looked brilliant, it had a fantastic, naturally aspirated V8 and if you've ever had the chance to put one around a corner you already know how well it sticks to the pavement.

How else can you improve upon something that's already great? Easy. Upgrade its aerodynamics to make it slip through the air better and add turbocharging to its powertrain. Now with a staggering 660 horsepower and 560 lb.-ft. of torque, on paper, the 488 should eat the 458 for breakfast.
