Over the years we've seen all cars get a bit softer. They've all become a bit heavier, a bit more safe and, frankly, a bit more dull.

That's not necessarily an awful thing. You have to really push your vehicle to the limit to have a fatal accident — granted, vehicles are so well refined it's easy to push it without noticing.

There's just one problem. Performance cars that are supposed to be a bit more hairy chested and a handful aren't like that anymore. Take, for example, the Porsche 911. With the positioning of its motor beyond the rear axle, it was a nightmare to take it out in the wet.

Now-and-days you can take one to the track in the wet and not have a problem!

But, that's your standard Carrera. What about something a bit more beefy? Say, the Turbo S? Well, the boys and girls over at XCAR decided to see if the Porsche 911 is still a bit bananas.
