If you didn't note it in the last thread, Jay Leno just had his McLaren P1 delivered. It's sporting a bright yellow paint job and it's wonderful in its own way; however, it has one primary competitor at the moment. That would be the Porsche 918 Spyder.
From what we've seen so far, there's no question that the McLaren is a fire-snorting beast. However, Porsche didn't have ANY problem confirming its Nürburgring lap time of 6:57 while McLaren, on the other hand, is remaining eerily silent. What we do know is that both cars are exquisite pieces of engineering.
Though Leno has taken the trip to McLaren, we think it'd be useful to see and hear his thoughts on the all-new 918. And considering Leno is the owner of a Carrera GT, it s particularly intriguing to understand his take on the latest and greatest from the storied brand and if it's a good thing.

Random thought: you just have to love how Daniel Eastman — one of the prototype's developers — is smiling ear-to-ear when Leno really throttles the car.
