If you've been following AutoSpies for the past 12 months or so, you would have seen our very positive response to Mercedes-Benz's all-new cars like the CLA-Class and sport-utility variant, the GLA-Class. Both cars were designed with the intent of making an impression while getting a younger demographic into a three-pointed star.

We've seen the CLA do quite well from a sales perspective and now it's the GLA's turn.

One thing we've been wondering about though is how much more differentiated is the GLA over its sedan sibling, the CLA. Now we get to find out as Autocar's Steve Sutcliffe takes out the all-new GLA45 AMG for a spin and compares it to the A45 AMG, which we don't get here in the States.
