The Chevrolet Corvette has always been a red-blooded sports car that places performance before anything else. But it looks like Chevy is looking towards the future of the sports car, because a new report from AutoGuide reveals that the automaker has just filed trademarks for “Corvette E-Ray” while the other is “E-Ray.” While the trademark filings may not be indicative of an electric Corvette, we don’t know what an “E-Ray” would stand for besides an electric sports car.
