A friend of AutoSpies, Manny Antunes, recently posted to his Instagram account that the all-new BMW i3 had officially arrived at his dealer — JMK BMW — in New Jersey today. If you have good eyes you'll note that this is one of the Electronaut edition cars.
According to Antunes, this is the first one in the country. He would know as he is the i and M specialist at the place.
Whether you're for or against the electric movement, you have to admit that this is a BIG moment for the Bavarians. At some point it must have seemed crazy that the company would produce an electric but as with most things, change happens over time. THINK: Porsche builds sport-utility vehicles and Ferrari now makes a car with all-wheel drive.
As today was the first of the month and the automakers rolled out their sales reports, this 'gram left me a bit curious: will the all-new i3 be a sales STUD or a DUD?
