confession-time: I've got a fetish for multi-purpose vehicles. No, I've never been a fan of SUVs. And no, the recent spate of crossovers has left me scratching my head (give me a wagon or give me death!). But what I am interested in are vehicles that can exhilarate on-road while holding their own off-road Read Article

On paper it's a beauty but I notice one flaw in the interior: that wrap-around wood on the center console is just begging to be scratched. BTW, my best method for cleaning stains and fingerprints off lacquered or polyurethaned real wood trim is one quick wipe with a slightly damp Kleenex or soft J-Cloth dried quickly by wiping with clean soft cotton batting that you can buy at any pharmacy. Only distilled water should be used as it leaves no mineral residue.

You don't ditch the car in a nearby body of water?

This is hot truck, but I feel like this interior is too generic, besides the the shifter and seats.

"To say that we never got the opportunity to push the FX beyond 5/10ths would be an understatement, but it did give us a hint of the FX's capabilities on the back roads. We were less than impressed"

What a great way to test a SUV that emphasizes sport over anything else. Its impossible to tell how any car will perform when loaded with weight and driven in a lethargic fashion.

I typically dislike Japanese cars, but I do like this one. Nice timeless design that will always look good. The interior is soothing as well, and it is nice to see woodgrain for a change, especially at this price level. Woodgrain is a nice touch American cars seem to be losing. A big yes factor for this car is the sensible Rear wheel drive system. I noticed this feature on the previous version. Rear wheel drive really made me notice this car. It is a shame that the V8 only comes with AWD. Who needs or wants a gas guzzling 4x4 these days. A manual shift would be a plus as well, it would give the V* better fuel economy and then you could have the best of both worlds, performance, acceleration and economy. This car would be a huge hit if you could order it with a Diesel and manual shift. One would hope that the tires are Touring tires as opposed to off-road tires. If it has noisy tires I would replace them with Bridgestone Turanzas. Do they still have that awesome Brylium brown Color?
