I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

so for only three times the cost of an M6 you can get an M6 with a quasi Aston Martin bodykit that does 0-60 0.2 seconds quicker. Sweet deal.

I understand that this is a special coachbuilder and all, but I personally do not find that body any more attractive than the normal BMW 6-Series.

I absolutely love his DB9 and V8 Vantage though. He's a saint in those regards...

Its not a bad design but you steel feel its a 6er no matter how much it looks different...

You have a point but how do you know the acceleration times are not under estimated? I think this will be more like 3.7s to 100km/h. Also its exclusive so obviously its going to be way more expensive..

it very well might be, but anyone spending $300k on a car is buying status, so if I'm going to spend $300k on a car it's going to be a car that

a) other people know what it is, and
b) isn't a rebodied version of a "lesser" car (even a car as amazing as an M6).

Dinan has a 650hp M6 coming for probably half the cost. Moving up the sport luxury coupe range you also have every Aston Martin, every Maserati, the Bentley Continental GT, CL65, the Ferrari F430/599GTB, Lamborghini Gallardo/LP640, etc., all of which are plenty exclusive (and recognizable).

I totally agree with you, people will prefer a recognisble brand than an unknown one, especially if they were in the same price range. But for the people who 'just want to be different', this car will work.

The article also mention that he a make a V8 version as well, producing 367hp and cost around $199,000. For that kind of money I get the Aston Martin DB9, or Lambo Gallardo or even the Bentley Continental GT.
