First it was the Mustang EcoBoost, and now Ford's manliest truck.

Engine downsizing isn’t necessarily a bad thing. With the technology now there to better manage turbo lag, it’s hard to complain about the loss of thirsty V8s in most, but not all cars. Full size trucks and muscle cars, like the Ford F-150 and Mustang, have long been known for their V8 power. And now Ford is doing its best to convince mainstream buyers otherwise. Sales of the previous F-150 EcoBoost were through the roof, and Ford is out to do the same with the truck’s successor as well as the new Mustang EcoBoost.
