Penske Automotive confirmed its staff met with representatives of Korea's Samsung Motors to discuss a partnership for Saturn vehicles.
But the blog channels are reporting that Penske's most keen on working out an agreement with France's Renault group. Ol' Roger's mighty fond of Renault's wide selection of compact gas-sippers, and more than impressed with their build quality; Renault, in turn, wants to return to the US market. So while another Saturn Astra appears unlikely, a Saturn Clio could just happen.
