Although the all-new Hyundai Sonata made its debut with a more flashy look, its sister company, Kia, did not modify the closely related Optima sedan. Well, that's about to change at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

That's because Kia has officially teased the four-generation Optima with a midsize sedan concept vehicle.

We're definitely looking forward to seeing this in the flesh because the Optima has always been the Sonata's more stylish cousin. That's not a bad thing at all.

Judging from what little we are able to see of the car fully uncloaked, it's pretty obvious the concept will sport a sexy set of wheels and a new front-end treatment that will speak to the Kia brand.

Mechanical details have not been mentioned, but I think it's safe to say in-market consumers can expect a standard four-cylinder motor, a four-cylinder aided by turbocharging, a hybrid variant as well as a possible diesel offering.

Stay tuned for the latest information! We'll be sure to keep you updated on the all-new Optima!

This new D-segment model is the 11th concept car created by Kia's European design studio in Frankfurt, Germany. With confident, powerful lines which sweep elegantly from Kia's hallmark 'tiger-nose' grille towards the rear of the vehicle, Kia's new concept car embodies modern design and refined, understated energy.

The concept has been created as a spacious and versatile accessory to an active lifestyle, as a purposeful, energetic design study for the style-conscious, and as a sanctuary from the stresses of the modern world.
