It looks like the 2015 Geneva Motor Show will be another exciting one. That's because not only will Ferrari be showing off the new 488 GTB, but McLaren will be showing off the 675LT.

If you've been hiding under a rock for the past week, the LT is the longtail variant of the 650S. We're thinking it will go after the 458 Speciale with a more track-focused approach that will include more power, less weight and better aerodynamic modifications to make the car more slippery through the air.

At this stage we have no clue how significant the ass-end's changes will be, but we're thinking they will be quite drastic. Case in point: check out the clip below.

You'll note that the rear end doesn't resemble the current 650S but it does take some creative license from the Speciale with its exhaust being piped straight out the back. Pretty gnarly.

Oh, and dial up the volume. You may just like how this one sounds.

To my ears it's a departure from the rather muscle-y V8 employed in the 650S as it currently exists.

McLaren 675LT is set for Geneva unveil.

The purest, most involving series-production McLaren supercar to date, the new 675LT, will make its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The model completes the newly announced McLaren Super Series alongside the 650S and Asia-only 625C.
