General Motors is asking dealers to halt delivery of about 3,500 new pickups and SUVs as the company investigates an undisclosed "issue" with the trucks.

GM issued a stop-delivery order to dealers on Thursday for the 2014-15 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, Chevy Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL and Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV.
