We're on the eve of the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA), so, you know what that means. As usual, Volkswagen Auto Group (VWAG) held what's known as "group night."

Essentially, it's a showcase of all its all-new wares that will be revealed on tomorrow's show floor here in Germany. As you'd expect, it didn't disappoint.

One of the coolest vehicles we remember making its very first appearance is the all-new Porsche Mission E. An all-electric vehicle, it produces around 600 horsepower, takes 15 minutes to charge and can drive an estimated 310 miles on a full charge. Oh, and it's fast. Zero to 60 is estimated to take merely 3.5 seconds.

Tesla is clearly in the crosshairs here and while we admit the Model S does have some swagger, it pales in comparison to the Mission E. There's a bit of Panamera, a bit of 918 and a bit of 911 working here. In other words, there's a whole lot of attitude.

In addition to all of this it has some seriously groundbreaking technology that we haven't heard about in a vehicle before. One such example is the eye-tracking software that allows you to select instruments with greater ease. My personal favorite touch though is how the three-dimensional gauges will physically move with the driver to ensure the steering wheel does NOT block their view.

When you're pushing a vehicle at 10/10ths, this is something you want to have.

I could go on, but there's so much more to cover. Having said that, scope out Agent 001's pics from the VWAG event below. Let us know what you think of the Mission E.
